In the search for a great bath time toy that will not collect bacteria? If you have not tried the Crayola Window Crayons in the bathtub I encourage you to try them.
I never thought to use them in the tub until they ended up there...you can figure out how that happened 🤦🏾♀️. I never thought to use these in the bathtub! I had purchased some crayons that were specifically for the bathtub but he likes to try and eat them and after he plays with them in the water the crayon can becomes soft and mushy, but not these window crayons. I love that the colors are very vibrant and don’t appear to be washed out on the tile.
Anytime as a working single mother that I can turn our routine into a more interactive and engaging task is a win for me; Jeremy can be creative and playful while learning at the same time while I get him ready for bed. We review the colors with each selection and I even get to play and write and we review They allow my little on the chance the be creative in the tub with no lasting marks that require a HGTV intervention 😂. This has become his favorite bath time toy and mine. He loves it because he gets to draw and also he loves to watch mommy write his name. He also likes trying to use it as a facial moisturizer. 🤪
We turn it into a teaching moment of reviewing the letters of the alphabet and different colors. Because I work and don't get a lot of teaching moments in during the week I am always looking for ways to sneak lessons in during our fun times. But the bonus is that it helps keep my bathtub cleaner longer...I know you are going to ask how.
Well I have to wipe up his markings so he can make more. For this I use Clorox Wipes—fast and handy dandy. This means I end up wiping down the bathtub more often which means I don’t have to deep clean it as often. WIN 🛁 WIN.
