If you don’t know I LOVE to dress up and look cute. I don’t know where I got that from 😉 (I get it from my momma!)
There is a blogger/influencer (I’m still confused by the titles to be honest) that I follow in IG that I find inspirational and of similar kindred spirit (no I am not stalking her). If you are not following CeCe Olisa on her many social media platforms--YouTube, Blog, or Instagram you are missing out! She is hilarious and seems to be very transparent with certain aspects of her life (she keeps her “Fan Fam” in ✔️).
So, there was this look that she wore several times on her IG stories at the end of last year that just caught my eye and I had to rush out and get it as a Christmas present to myself. Now truthfully, I didn’t rush out anywhere I ordered it on line from Amazon but I know I wanted to play dress up with this look.
The thing that made this looks so awesome if that first it’s my signature color pink. Secondly, it looked comfortable as heck and still stylish; and as mothers know comfort with a 2 year old is paramount. Thirdly, the jacket can be worn on its own therefore giving you different outfit options—pair it with jeans, skirt, or even leggings.

I hate to exercise. I mean I HATE to exercise! With a passion, the idea makes my skin crawl. It’s the effort and being lazy...I know why I hate it BUT I love how productive and healthy I feel afterwards. It’s like this ironic situation. I hate to do it but I feel so good afterwards!
One thing I have learned about myself is that changing my perspective can sometimes turn things I hate into something I will tolerate...for example I hate to clean however I love gadgets so I got a really cool floor vac mop that I love using so it makes cleaning a bit more palatable. So I decided to change my mind frame on the exercise—toward the runway!

.Com: Communion with my Creator is key not only for my sanity but my spiritual health, my family’s spiritual health, and that of my patients. How can I continue to give when my well is dry. I love the YouVersion App. It gives me a daily scripture that I in turn pictorialize. I end up putting them on the blog in my Faith Space. I draw on them frequently to keep my cup running over. I also subscribe to daily scriptures from The Daily Word. I get daily devotions in my email which is awesome and convienent.
Org: “Everything in its place” gone are my childhood days of clothes sprawled on the floor. After the birth of my son I found it hard bring organization back to my life. I’ve realized that I have had to rethink the term and what it means in my life. My little one is an active participant in trying to keep things organized. I’ve realized that while everything has its place that location needs to be fluid. I’ve also latched on to a state of constant picking up and straightening up. I used to clean on Saturday mornings; but now I clean everyday. A little bit adds up.
.Blog and .Co: Blogging has been a help for me and hopefully it’s been helpful for you guys as well. However, I need to work on my consistency. I used to worry about whether my content was helpful which made me hesitant to post however I realized the only way to find out is to put it out and wait for comments. So I will throw caution to the wind and post and post and post 👩🏾💻. Happy reading!
